Would you like to join us in revolutionizing the fitness and health industry and contribute to a healthier society? We are looking for a Technical Content Manager / Technical Writer – Digital Apps and Operator Portal (m/f/d) with a strong background in developing instructional content for software products. In this role, you will drive the creation, maintenance, and localization of documentation for our EGYM apps and operator portal, and create content to explain our products and features to a diverse audience of gym operators, trainers, and end users. You will also be the point of contact for the Operator Portal itself. Join our team in Munich and become a key contributor to the future of EGYM's product information landscape.

You are an integral part of EGYM's new central technical content management team, as an individual contributor, or optionally depending on your profile, as a working team lead
You create and maintain documentation for the EGYM apps ecosystem – Trainer APP, Branded Member App, operator portal, and member management software APIs – and publish it online
You maintain writing and design guidelines for instructional content
You will bring the self-service operator portal to the next level by combining and structuring all of EGYM’s product documentation, educational content, and gym operator administration documentation
You are responsible for day-to-day translation project management, including communication with vendors and reviewers, final QA, as well as release, publication, and deployment

Your fitness level

You have a degree in Instructional Design, Information Development, Technical Writing, or a related field
You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing and managing product documentation for apps
You have significant hands-on experience with agile software development (JIRA, Github, collaboration with product managers, etc.)
You are experienced with “docs as code” approaches and with using / managing one or more component content management systems or structured authoring frameworks (e.g., DITA) to support us on our journey towards optimizing how we develop, manage, and publish our product documentation
You are experienced using / managing translation memory or translation management systems to effectively manage translation and localization of our instructional materials and product interfaces
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus

Your training goal for your first 6 months

You have acquired a deep understanding of EGYM's apps ecosystem and documentation processes
You are fully integrated into our agile, cross-functional team structure and have built strong relationships with the Technical Content Management Team and key stakeholders from the Product Team, Apps Software Engineering, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.
You are onboarded and ready to independently take care of EGYM’s apps and operator portal documentation
