  • Team Leadership: You work together with the Hardware Leadership on defining strategy for the team and the Hardware department.

  • Capacity Management & Resource Planning: You oversee your team’s capacity vs. planned assignments, and balance department-specific and team goals.You assess your team’s expertise/capacity gaps and determine when to expand to fulfill the goals

  • Team Representation: You serve as the first touchpoint to anyone from outside (and inside) the team regarding the team’s focus and tasks, ensuring alignment on project planning and maximizing productivity

  • Process Improvement & Coaching: You proactively drive internal team-level improvements and coach team members in their professional development 

  • Cross-Functional Project Support: You and your team support hardware development projects (focus: engineering change & document management), EGYM-wide master data related projects (focus: Product and Service Portfolio, Planning and Production Master Data) 

Your fitness level
  • Educational Background: You have a degree in engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or similar

  • Leadership Experience: You have 3+ years of leadership experience 

  • Technical Experience: You have worked 5+ years with technical product development teams and have a good understanding of mechatronic products 

  • Business Tools: You have hands-on experience with PLM, CRM, & ERP Software (ideally: Arena, SAP, Salesforce) and you are well acquainted with engineering change management & product master data management principles. Experience with EDMS and knowledge management systems is a plus

  • Communication & Organization: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and a structured, detail-oriented approach

  • Language Skills: Your English skills allow you to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization—German is a plus

Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • You take full ownership of the Document Control & Product Master Data Team and establish meaningful relationships with your team members

  • You gain a very good understanding of all topics owned by the team through a deep dive into the team’s day-to-day work (e.g. engineering change management, technical documentation guidelines, PLM administration, product master data management)

  • You are valued as a competent contact partner by the Hardware department and your key stakeholders, and you have established strong relationships with them

  • You understand the Hardware department's project and capacity planning methods and represent your team confidently in the planning rounds
