Communication & Coordination: You are the main point of contact, both internally for our teams and externally for system suppliers, for all matters relating to the manufacture and assembly of EGYM Smart machines.
Project Management: You lead internal production projects for process optimization, you identify potential for improvement, introduce new products to our existing system suppliers, and also onboard new manufacturing partners for steel components/assemblies.
Production Management: You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the supplier relationships in North America to ensure smooth material flow and high quality production standards.
Process Optimization: You work closely with the product development, procurement, and quality teams to continuously improve our devices and production processes.
Change Management: You carry out product changes from the idea to series production, taking into account various influencing factors (e.g., assembly methods, compatibility, availability, and ideal change times).
Analysis and Management: You create production forecasts, coordinate supplier production, and manage our inventory within our ERP system.
Your fitness level
You have a Bachelor's degree in Production/Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent experience.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an agile and lean environment, and have experience dealing with suppliers in terms of cost, quality and supplier management.
You have several years of experience in production management, either internally managed or externally at supplier sites.
You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of steel fabrication, including metal forming and punching, laser cutting, tube bending, robot-assisted welding, and material coatings including powder coating.
You have experience in PLM/ERP systems as well as CAD & PDM systems (ideally Solidworks).
You have excellent skills in supplier management, with building and maintaining partnerships.
You have strong analytical capabilities, great leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
You have proven success in managing supplier start-up or relocation projects within North America (not required, but a plus.)
You are able to meet the travel requirements of this role: 30% of your time will be spent traveling (including domestic and international travel to suppliers in North America and spending time blending with teams and counterparts at our headquarters in Munich, Germany).
Your training goal for your first 6 months
You have developed a deep understanding of our tools and processes and can operate them properly.
You are well networked with your colleagues after your 1 month onsite onboarding phase in Munich, Germany.
You know our strength equipment very well and have spent time with our team in our partner’s assembly facility on the east coast.
You independently take over the support and management of our system supplier on the east coast.
You independently lead production projects, moderate team meetings, and distribute requirements to team colleagues.

The equipment we provide
You will earn an annual salary of $85,000 to $110,000. *Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and more.
