  • Development: You craft sleek, high-performing Android apps using Kotlin/Java with a focus on fitness and wellness features
  • Collaboration: You work closely with product and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life from concept to launch
  • Clean Coding: You write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that both users and fellow engineers will appreciate
  • Trends: You stay updated with the latest Android trends and share your insights with the team
  • Feedback: You participate in code reviews and give as well as receive feedback to improve as a team and thus to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing 
  • API Definition: You collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs
  • Web technology support: You work together with web Frontend engineers to continuously improve and expand the web technologies embedded within the native Android app, ensuring a seamless, native-like user experience
Your fitness level
  • Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience developing highly successful apps in commercial environments
  • Tech Enthusiastic: You are passionate about the latest trends in software engineering and enjoy using methods like test-driven development, continuous delivery, and test automation
  • Web technologies: You are eager to contribute beyond your core skill set to help deliver best-in-class product features powered by web technologies. Experience with TypeScript, React, Ionic, or Capacitor is a big plus
  • APIs & Libraries: You are familiar with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, which are part of your daily toolkit
  • Kotlin & Android: You are enthusiastic about Google technologies and experienced with Kotlin and the Android ecosystem (Android Studio, Android SDK, and Git). Contributions to open-source projects are a plus
  • Testing: You are passionate about developing testable and maintainable code 
  • Architecture Patterns: You are familiar with common architectural patterns like MVP, MVVM, and MVI
  • Mindset & Collaboration: You are open-minded, eager to learn, and thrive in a team environment where you enjoy collaborating across disciplines and stepping beyond your core tech expertise
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • Ownership: You take ownership of the work you do, you can understand its architecture and deliver on product requirements and features as well as improve testability and functionality
  • EGYM Ecosystem Familiarization: You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department
  • Respected Team Member: You become a known and well-respected member of the Machine Infrastructure domain and the engineering department
