EGYM is looking for a VP of Supply Chain Engineering & Operations (f/m/d), who transforms our regional, mid-sized supply chain into a resilient global network that supports exponential growth across Europe, the Americas, and APAC - lean, data-driven, and sustainable. You act as a strategic partner to the Chief Hardware Officer, professionalizing our hardware operations through first-principles thinking and robust process design instead of management trends. Your core mission: mentor and develop our team to globalize, scale, and stabilize our supply chain by balancing efficient global sourcing with resilient regional networks and “pragmatic sustainability” (local where viable, sustainable global where it truly adds value). This role is designed for a seasoned industry leader at the peak of their career who wants to mentor the next generation of leadership, scale impact globally, and win without corporate bloat or rigid bureaucracy.
- Supply Network Architecture: Your team will design, implement and continuously evolve a resilient, scalable global supply network, including right- shoring strategies and regional manufacturing and supplier hubs in key international markets
- Local-for-Local Sourcing: Your team will develop sourcing frameworks to serve regional customers through local production, reducing carbon footprint and logistics volatility, guided by Total Landed Cost (TLC) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) criteria
- Capacity Management: Your team will identify bottlenecks and stress-test suppliers to ensure they can withstand high-velocity growth
- Capacity Securing: Your team will secure long-term capacity by proactively negotiating dual-sourcing, strategic supplier partnerships, and innovative approaches such as shared capital investments or equipment co-financing aligned with demand forecasts.
- Process Excellence: Your team will eliminate startup-era inefficiencies, document scalable workflows, and ensure compliance and quality without stifling agility
- Leadership & Mentoring: You lead, coach, and develop senior leaders across Production and Procurement, actively transferring deep expertise in negotiation, risk management, and crisis leadership.
- Succession & Talent Development: You build the capabilities of your teams to prepare them for future leadership and operational independence
