Do you love using your excellent coding skills to build scalable software and automation? Are you excited about microservices, operating system internals and computer networking and are you not afraid of troubleshooting them? Then we would like to welcome you as Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to our international team in Munich or Berlin!
Reliability: As part of our agile Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team, you improve the instrumentation and dependability of our microservices architecture
Observability: You monitor service latency and availability while managing incident troubleshooting within a blameless culture
Empowerment: You mentor cross-functional teams on building scalable software and taking ownership of their service operations
Innovation: You take on diverse technical problems and work on tasks that enable you to continuously learn new things
Security: You help us securing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platform
Your fitness level
Cloud Expertise: You possess hands-on experience with cloud providers (ideally GCP), microservices, and container orchestration
Coding Proficiency: You demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Go or Java
Systems Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of Linux system internals and computer networking
Analytical Mindset: You approach technical hurdles as a proactive problem solver and challenge seeker
Education: You either hold a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or possess equivalent professional experience in a technical field
Your training goal for your first 6 months
Onboarding: You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department
Infrastructure: You are comfortable working with our Infrastructure, Tools and Automation Workflow
Collaboration: You provided guidance to other engineers and deliver feedback in a constructive manner
Incident Management: You are able to support our team during incidents
