Would you like to revolutionise the fitness and health industry with us and make your contribution to a healthier society? We are looking for a Product Compliance Manager (m/f/d) who wants to join us in our mission ‘we make the gym work for everyone!’ and to actively shape the future of fitness. Does this sound like you? Then join our team in Munich and help us take EGYM's success story to the next level!

  • Regulatory Compliance: You ensure all EGYM products comply with relevant global regulations, including but not limited to EU and US-compliance and the relevant industry-specific standards.
  • Product Risk Management: You identify and assess potential product risks throughout the entire product lifecycle, and implement measures to mitigate them. Experience with ISO 12100 is desired.
  • Documentation and Reporting: You develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, including test reports, technical files, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions. You prepare compliance reports for management review.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You collaborate closely with product development, engineering, quality assurance, and other teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and development processes.
  • Internal Audits and Training: You conduct internal audits to ensure compliance processes are followed across departments. You provide training to team members on regulatory and compliance standards as needed.
  • Certification & Materials: You ideally bring experience—or an interest—in coordinating product testing with external labs and building out material compliance workflows (RoHS/REACH).
Your fitness level
  • Educational Background: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • Experience: You bring more than 5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance, ideally within the fitness, consumer electronics, or medical device industry.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Profound experience with international certification schemes such as CE- and FCC marking and standards such as ISO 12100. (UL and MDR experience are a plus)
  • Soft Skills: You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. You excel in written and verbal communication, effectively presenting complex regulatory matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive Ownership: You thrive in cross-functional environments, managing multiple workstreams at once while independently driving compliance topics from initial idea to implementation.
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • Topic Ownership: You assume full ownership of a specific regulatory area, starting with a summary of its current status. You proactively plan, execute, and lead the changes necessary to maintain compliance for your assigned scope, acting as the primary lead for those requirements.
  • Building Expertise and Relationships: You establish yourself as a trusted expert resource for development and product teams, as well as key stakeholders, including senior management. You build strong, collaborative relationships to support regulatory goals.
  • Mastering the Regulatory Landscape: You develop a deep understanding of our product ecosystem, the regulatory environment, and the workflows of relevant testing and certification bodies to ensure seamless compliance
  • Improving Processes and Systems: You identify gaps in current regulatory processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. You contribute to the optimization of systems for managing regulatory documentation and tracking compliance.
  • Delivering Early Wins: You address immediate regulatory challenges or deadlines, providing actionable insights and solutions to stakeholders. You demonstrate value by achieving quick successes that align with business priorities.
