  • Intake: You use a standardized project intake process to collect new project ideas and requests, define the business need and project requirements, and log the relevant information into our project backlog

  • Resource Management: You work closely with stakeholders within and outside of the Corporate IT team to set realistic expectations for resource availability and project timing while working with stakeholders to resolve competing priority claims

  • Stakeholder Management: You collaboratively build project plans and roadmaps, define stakeholder roles, assign tasks to stakeholders, and ensure stakeholder accountability for task completion

  • Resolution: You identify potential or actual roadblocks and threats to project success and work with stakeholders to address them before they impact project outcomes

  • Monitoring: You monitor the progress of multiple projects and provide regular communication to stakeholders to ensure that all concerned parties have consistent and up-to-date project status information

  • Reporting: You provide regular reporting on overall project success criteria in alignment with team KPIs

Your fitness level
  • Training: You have completed a training or internship program or have a university degree in Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus)

  • Professional Experience: You have 2 or more years of professional experience in managing technology projects from start to finish

  • People Focused: You enjoy working with large groups of people and are comfortable adjusting your communication style to various levels of technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Solutions Focused: You are adept at finding resolutions to conflicts and competing stakeholder priorities; you focus on solutions instead of blame, and can hold firm on agreements when needed

  • Skills: You are highly organized and comfortable with navigating rapidly changing situations

  • Language skills: You have professional proficiency in English (German and/or French is a plus) 

Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • Define Intake Process: You work with internal stakeholders and the IT team to understand the current challenges in the project intake process and design a new process to address those pain points

  • Define Standard Project Assets: You work with internal stakeholders to define standardized project asset templates that can be used in projects going forward to help streamline the process and avoid pitfalls

  • Evaluate Backlog: You work with the IT team to understand the current bandwidth levels, evaluate current level of oversubscription based on work in-flight, and begin to work with stakeholders on prioritizing the backlog to meet reasonable bandwidth requirements

  • Manage Projects: You begin to take ownership of technical projects from start to finish, utilizing the processes and assets that you created previously to deliver a superior stakeholder experience

  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Impact: You establish strong, trusted relationships across teams and act as a key partner in delivering data solutions that create measurable business impact
