Product Master Data Manager - S/4HANA (m/f/d)

Contrat à durée indéterminée (CDI), Temps plein · Germany, Munich

Your daily workout
We are looking for a hands-on Product Master Data Manager (m/f/d) who understands how product data, system logic, and end-to-end business processes actually click together in a global environment. If you’ve spent your career navigating the complexities of product master data across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Salesforce, and found yourself obsessively documenting and improving data structures because you knew “there has to be a better way,” you may be the next expert we’re searching for in Munich.
In this role, you won’t just maintain records- you will take full ownership of them. We are currently transitioning from a high-speed startup to a process-driven enterprise, so you’ll need to bring a highly structured approach to an environment that can still feel a bit chaotic. You’ll dive into unstructured, multi-system challenges, bridge the gaps in our digital transformation, and create the order that allows our teams to scale. If you’re ready to turn ambiguity into architecture, give your career a workout and apply now!

  • Data Transformation: You actively participate in data transformation projects, including the migration to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, with a focus on the migration of Product and Supply Chain master data
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You collaborate cross-functionally to balance technical system configuration with business requirements, bridging the gap between Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, and IT
  • Product Implementation: You support product development and go-to-market projects from a process and master data perspective, assessing impacts on tools and potential process changes while ensuring end-to-end functional product implementation across our system landscape (SAP, Salesforce, Arena PLM, and others)
  • Process Definition: You define, align, and document end-to-end (E2E) processes for Product Master Data creation and change, ensuring consistency across system landscapes and alignment with cross-departmental stakeholders
  • Data Stewardship: You perform hands-on operational tasks, including data quality management, configuration, and maintenance across relevant systems, acting as a data steward
  • Data Architecture: You define and implement new product data architectures, ensuring long-term flexibility beyond the current SAP transition project
Your fitness level
  • Professional Experience: You have 5+ years of experience as an End-to-End Product Data Key User, managing product master data in a multi-system environment
  • System Expertise: You possess hands-on experience creating and maintaining product master data in SAP and Salesforce, particularly within industries with complex hardware operations, including serial production of electromechanical assemblies
  • Technical Knowledge: You demonstrate a deep understanding of product-related data (e.g., material types, pricing, BOMs, MRP data) along with a solid grasp of end-to-end business processes - from product inception and sourcing to sales and lifecycle management
  • Data Migration Experience: You have first-hand experience with SAP data migration projects and scaling product master data management during the transition from a startup to an enterprise
  • Process Orientation: You are highly process-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable toggling between strategic thinking and day-to-day execution
  • Independent Problem Solving: You work independently and proactively, especially when faced with ambiguous problems where the “right” solution isn’t obvious, enjoying the challenge of figuring things out
  • Communication Skills: You communicate effectively in English across all organizational levels, from early-career engineers to senior management; German skills are a plus
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • Process Understanding: You have developed a deep understanding of EGYM’s current E2E process landscape and Product data structures across relevant business tools
  • Team Integration: You have successfully integrated into the team and become a trusted and competent contact partner, having established strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ticket Resolution: You timely and accurately resolve product master data tickets from our Master Data Service Desk and for ongoing projects
  • Ownership: You assume full ownership of a specific product master data area, starting with a summary of its current status
