Talent Acquisition (primary focus - 60%)
  • Recruiting Execution: You own end-to-end recruiting for our US-based roles (an average of 3-7 open requisitions at a time) - from job profile to day one, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and interviewing. You run the process with strong attention to detail and business context, ensuring we align the right talent with EGYM’s goals. 
  • Partnership: You advise our hiring managers as a true TA partner — leading intake sessions, guiding them on candidate profiles, aligning on expectations, and sharing market insights to drive smart, high-quality hiring decisions.
  • Candidate Experience: You ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience through clear communication, strong coordination, and reliable follow-through — keeping processes moving with momentum, clarity, and a human touch. 
  • Contract Creation: You coordinate offers, contracts, and pre-onboarding in close partnership with internal stakeholders (IT, other people functions, managers), ensuring every new hire has a seamless first day at EGYM. 
  • Recruiting Data: You maintain accurate ATS records and ensure recruiting workflows are followed consistently and correctly. 


People Operations  (secondary focus- 40%)
  • Employee Lifecycle: You support onboarding and offboarding processes through HR systems and structured workflows. 
  • HR Systems Management: You maintain and update HRIS/People systems with accurate employee data.
  • Administration: You provide administrative support for employment changes (role changes, manager updates, location changes, etc.)
  • Employee Support: You respond to employee inquiries via the Jira People Management ticketing system, providing timely support for standard HR-related requests. 
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: You support payroll, compensation, and benefits activities in partnership with our PEO and internal People team, ensuring accurate employee data and documentation. 
  • Documentation & Policy Support: You help maintain and update internal People resources, SOPs, onboarding guides, and policy documentation to ensure consistency and accessibility. 


Process and Experience Improvement (as needed)
  • Employee Experience: You help create a consistent and positive employee experience across key lifecycle moments. 
  • Process Improvement: You identify and implement improvements to recruiting and People Operations workflows, systems, and documentation. 
  • Operational Support: You support the implementation of new People processes, tools, and operational initiatives as needed. 

Your fitness level

  • Experience: You bring at least 3 years of experience in a generalistic HR role focusing on People Operations and Recruiting. Experience working in a global or multi-location organization is a plus. 
  • Expertise: You are confident running full hiring cycles independently and supporting core People Operations processes such as contracts, onboarding, and payroll. Exposure to onboarding and offboarding processes at scale is beneficial. 
  • Precision: You bring strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Agility: You are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication: You are a confident communicator who builds strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • HR Tools: You have solid experience working with HRIS and/or ATS systems. Familiarity with People analytics or reporting is a plus. 
  • Drive: You use a consultative approach to bring, proactive, problem-solving mindset with a clear focus on execution and follow-through.
  • Operational Excellence: You have an interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.

Your training goal for your first 6 months


  • Recruiting Execution: You are able to run end to end hiring processes independently and smoothly and provide a very good candidate experience.
  • Employee Experience: You ensure employees have a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience.
  • Data Accuracy: You confidently ensure candidate and employee profiles in our HRIS and ATS systems are consistently accurate, up to date, and reliable, enabling smooth recruiting and People Operations processes. 
  • Documentation & Policy Support: You independently manage core HR administration processes, including setting up employee profiles in our HRIS systems, preparing new hire documentation, maintaining employee records, and updating policy and employee resource information on our company intranet.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: You demonstrate repeatable collaboration processes with hiring managers, IT, Finance, and People teams. 

The equipment we provide

  • You will earn an annual base salary of $75,000 - $85,000

  • This role is based in Denver, CO, with a flexible hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 in-office days per week. You’ll also enjoy working from our brand-new Downtown Denver office.
